Find One Of A Kind Christmas Gifts at TNT Craft Studios

Happy Friday!

I hope that everyone had a splendid Halloween! Now that October is over, it is time to start thinking about Christmas! Some people think it’s too early, but for others they are already on the hunt for the perfect gifts.

So, for the past two weeks, I have been working my tush off trying to get new things in my Etsy shop in time for Christmas. I am really pumped on the things I have been creating and am excited to share them with you all!

New in TNT Craft Studios

First up, a lovely lavender oatmeal bath soak. I love taking baths. Baths are where you can relax, and just find some peace, so making a bath soak only seemed right.TNT Craft StudiosThis relaxing bath soak is made with lavender buds, all natural oatmeal, and Epsom Salt. Nothing like nourishing your skin while melting away stress and enjoying the amazing lavender scent. Love, love, love this! Also, stay tuned, I will be having a rose bud bath soak coming shortly!

Next, I have wine cork Christmas trees! I am making wine cork pumpkins for fall and they are a huge hit, so I decided to make Christmas trees too!

I LOVE these little trees! Not only are they fun to make, they are adorable and are sure to spruce up anyone’s home. They feature buttons, ribbon and a little bit of wood.

Another newbie are these rice hand-warmers! They are the perfect size for your pocket and are sure to keep you warm! The hand-warmers are made with 100% cotton fabric, rice, and a little bit of cinnamon bark for a cozy winter time scent. Right now plaid is available but more colors are coming. Wouldn’t these just make great stocking stuffers?TNT Craft Studios
How many of you out there love coasters? Great, because I have mason jar lid coasters are that are sure to knock your socks off! These coasters have a rustic look and feature a mason jar graphic with the words “It’s All Good”. They are so much fun! Get a set today!

Get One Of These Beautiful Vintage Teacup Candles

Happy Monday!

I hope that everyone has had a splendid weekend! Mine was very busy working on Etsy orders, and creating new things for my Etsy shop. What I created this weekend has to be my favorite thing to date. Vintage teacup candles! Oh, how I love them so!

Recently, I have been on the hunt for vintage teacups specifically for this batch of candles. I know I could have ordered them online, but there is something special about being able to go out and find them myself. And that is exactly what I did. I found six beautiful old teacups from two different antique stores in a town near me. Three of them are from the same set, while the other three are each different.

The six wonderful teacups I found.

The ones on the right, are extremely old and have cracks and chips in them. Some people may not like the fact that I still chose to use them for  candles, but I feel as if they just add more charm to them. I sincerely hope someone loves them as much as I do.

These candles are 100% natural soy candles with a wonderfully relaxing lavender scent (my favorite). They have an all cotton wick so there is no need to worry about any heavy metals polluting the air when your candle is lit! And to top it all off, you are able to reuse the teacup once the candle is finished! I love being able to create Eco-friendly products for not only myself, but for other people! If you or someone you know can’t live without one, you can find them on http://www.etsy.com/shop/VictoriasCraftStudio.

I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the whole candle making process! I can’t wait to do my next batch!

Without further ado, here they are! My first batch of vintage teacup candles!

What is your favorite candle scent? I would love to hear ideas for my next batch!

Cheers,

Giving those old worn down pallets a new life!

Pallet Crafts

I love creating things. I especially love to create things out of items that people have tossed to the side. My most recent obsession is taking old, worn down pallets and giving them a new life. Not only do I get to make something exquisite, but it’s a chance for my husband and I to bond.

Now, I have to take a second and brag. Tommy is a FANTASTIC woodworker! So incredible! I’ll come to him with ideas of things that I want to build, and he takes them and creates something that totally surpasses what I had in mind! A couple of years ago, I had mentioned to him that I was wanting a wine rack. For Valentines Day that year, he surprised me with the most beautiful wine rack I have ever seen!

The absolutely gorgeous wine rack my husband built for me.

Okay, back to what I was talking about. Taking these old pallets and turning them into fun little nick-knacks and  has been something we have been able to do together and has become something we truly enjoy. Recently, we have finished a family command center that we are going to be selling on my Etsy shop (link is on the right side of the page –>) It came out beautifully and we use it everyday, so we decided why not share these with other people!

Our family command center made out of a pallet.

The project I am currently working on has been a lot of fun! I found this really weathered pallet that had once been painted blue. It’s quite beautiful by itself, but now it’s being turned into something fun, cute, and nautical themed! Oh how I love nautical themed decor.

Here’s a little sneak peek. I’ll be sure a post a photo once it’s completed in a few days!

Hello World! Welcome to Family, Food, and Crafts!

Hello there and welcome to Family, Food, and Crafts!

I’m so glad that you decided to stop on in. Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Victoria. I am a wife, mother, and book lover ! My husband and I currently live in Colorado. We have one human baby and four fur babies (three dogs and a cat) and let me tell you, things get pretty hectic around here! Since welcoming little baby A into the world, I have been blessed to be able to stay home with her and do what I love, which is creating little odds and ends. I have recently opened up an Etsy shop (http://www.etsy.com/shop/VictoriasCraftStudio) and decided that it was time that I start a blog. Starting a blog is something that I have been thinking about doing for quite some time now, and after much deliberation, I have decided to take the plunge and do it!

Now, I’ve been thinFamily Food & Craftsking long and hard on what this blog is going to be about. There’s a lot of people who like to stick to one particular thing, but that’s just not me. I like to bounce around and have fun so, I’ve decided that this blog is going to be filled with a little bit of everything! It’s going to be filled with TONS of fun, exciting things! I’m going to have recipes, and I mean recipes for everyone! For the men, for the kids, for you moms when you don’t want to spend a lot of time cooking. There’ll be side dishes, breakfast items, dips, you name it I’ll have it! I’ll also have family anecdotes, crafts, and everything in between.

So, please come in, grab your favorite beverage (I’m thinking maybe a nice glass of wine, or tea if that’s what you’re in to) and stay awhile! Things are just getting started!

Cheers,

Victoria
